Mercato Cosmetico 2014: le prime 100 aziende.




Non è semplice  stabilire una graduatoria mondiale, ranking, delle principali aziende della cosmesi.
Senza considerare le continue variazioni dei cambi valutari, molti grandi gruppi sono corporation che forniscono solo dati corporate, dove le entrate dovute alle vendite del cosmetico si mescolano a quelle da altri prodotti.
Tra relazioni di bilancio, ricerche di mercato e report di società specializzate ( ma report professionali di questo genere possono costare anche 3000 US$) una stima abbastanza accurata è possibile.
Le prime 10 società per volume d'affari rappresentano circa il 36,3 % dell'intero mercato, mentre le prime 100 ne coprono il 60 %. Spiegherei questa distribuzione col fatto che l'industria cosmetica è estremamente polverizzata essendo relativamente bassa la barriera di ingresso ed alta la marginalità. Le piccole imprese sono tantissime.
Solo i gruppi che hanno saputo sfruttare l'internazionalizzazione sono stati in grado di creare concentrazioni industriali di dimensioni gigantesche.
